QA Automation Engineer (Trading and FinTech infrastructure)

In this role, you will be a core member of our engineering team, helping establish testing standards to ensure our cutting-edge crypto solutions meet enterprise-grade performance and reliability metrics. What You'll Do

You will act as a key driver for automation on your team, applying your technical expertise to expand robust automation frameworks while collaborating with our existing QA members. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Automation Implementation: Take hands-on responsibility for implementing, maintaining, and scaling automation practices across our core financial and crypto products.

  • Framework Development: Build and extend end-to-end automation test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.

  • Test Reporting & Alerts: Configure and connect external test reporters (e.g., Allure, ReportPortal, TestDino) to pipe real-time test results and alerts directly into Slack.

  • Team Collaboration & Guidance: Work closely alongside a dedicated team of QA Engineers, helping them align with automation goals, share technical knowledge, and adopt automated workflows.

  • Pipeline Integration: Partner with developers and DevOps engineers to integrate automated tests directly into our build pipelines (such as GitHub Actions).

  • Real-Time & Data Testing: Work on stability, responsiveness, and accuracy of data-heavy and real-time interfaces (such as WebSockets) across various browsers.

  • API Validation: Test and validate backend endpoints, ensuring the stability and accuracy of our financial data feeds.

Practical experience using MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to connect AI agents with local development or browser environments is a massive advantage!

Qualifications

  • English: Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher (both written and verbal).

  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining E2E test suites.

Core Technical Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience developing automation scripts using Playwright.

  • Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.

  • Experience with API testing (RESTful APIs) and real-time data streaming technologies (WebSockets).

  • Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and automated test execution in development pipelines.

  • Proficient with Git version control and collaborative workflows.

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

 

Bonus Points:

  • At least a solid theoretical understanding (or practical experience) of how to test and validate GraphQL endpoints.

  • Experience testing fintech applications, blockchain networks, smart contracts, or cryptocurrency exchanges.
